What we Buy
What we Sell
American Metals is committed to protecting our environment by providing a competitive marketplace to keep scrap metal out of landfills and off the streets. Back before recycling was considered a part of our daily lives, or that being 'green' was the right thing "to do", American Metals has given individuals, industry and government entities a place to bring all recyclable metals.

In 2008, American Metals recycled 33 million aluminum cans (1 million pounds) which is equivalent to saving 16.5 million gallons of gasoline.
Recycling steel reduces mining waste by 97%, air pollution by 86% and water pollution by 76%. In 2008, American Metals recycled 48.5 million pounds of steel.
